Happiest Tip #1

Welcome to our Happiest Threads blog!! We hope this will be a place of inspiration, tips for the parks, giveaways, and more. Thank you for dropping by!

We are a business of sharing, and we want to share all the tips we can. We know how much planning (and not to mention, MONEY) that goes into your trip to Disneyland, so we want to help your park experience be the best it can be (especially when it involves kids).

Our first tip is for parents... have you ever pumped your kids up for a ride, only to find out they are too short to ride it?? It can be a pretty painful moment. (Here's the link to the height restrictions for Disneyland.)

Luckily the solution is simple: taller shoes.

I've compiled some of my favorite shoes to bring or wear to the park, each will add a half an inch about two inches. Also--light up shoes??? How easy will it be to keep track of your kids at night when their wearing light-ups?

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8

Watch as your child can walk confidently into the ride that he/she is too young for. :)

  • Great tip! When I was a kid, my mom put us in tall shoes and high ’90s style bangs and ponytails to cheat the height stick. But I have a quick question. My son is 3 months old and only 26 inches tall, what tips do you have for making up the other 18 inches he needs to ride Big Thunder?
